CANARY CARE PORTAL
Monitor as much or as little as you like.
Log in to see your loved one’s daily routine and be reassured at a glance. Get instant alerts so you can step in if something’s not quite right.
Our packages and insights work for your needs – multi-use sensors mean you can monitor the behaviour you’re most worried about, and you can register other family members, friends or carers to get alerts and help when needed. Plus – no microphones or cameras mean your loved one keeps their dignity and independence.
Activity
See if Mum’s been in the kitchen yet this morning, and set an alert so you know if she hasn’t. It could be that she’s not feeling too good – a quick call will let you know whether she needs help or not.
Bathroom Visits
Frequent night-time bathroom visits could be the norm, or a sign of disturbed sleep that suggests something else isn’t right. The Canary Care portal helps you build up a picture of a normal routine, so you can spot anything that might be wrong before something serious happens.
Visitors
You’ll get a visitor card with any package, and you can register more if you need them. They allow you to know who’s in the home and when they arrive and leave, plus get an alert if someone doesn't arrive when expected, for example a scheduled carer.
Sleep
See at a glance whether your loved one is sleeping through, or getting up in the night. If they need extra support in the home – you'll know.
Temperature
Keep an eye on the temperature remotely. If it gets too cold in the winter months, you’ll know if they need a reminder to pop the heating on.
Food & Drink
Want to know more information about eating and drinking habits? You could place sensors on the fridge and by the tap to see what’s going on.
Energy
Our smart plug can easily track when an appliance, such as the kettle, has been used. Rules can be set to trigger alerts when an appliance is used, or if an appliance has been left switched on for a period of time.
Privacy
There are no microphones or cameras, we believe that everyone deserves dignity and privacy in their own home. You can also be assured that all data communicated between the sensors, hub and portal is securely encrypted.
CANARY CARE PORTAL
How can I access the portal?
Web Browser
Phone
Tablet
Access insights through our online portal – or on-the-go with our app. You’ll know what normal looks like for your loved one, and be alerted straight away if something’s not quite right.
SENSORS
Simple and discreet.
Set up your sensors in key areas of the home to get insights on activity in common spaces as well as light and temperature information. Choose the number of sensors that suit your needs – keep it simple with a basic package or monitor more specific activity – like if the fridge is being opened, or windows kept closed.
HUB
Invaluable insight, any time.
No need for an internet connection or wires. Get insights 24/7 by simply placing the hub in the centre of the home where it can connect to all your sensors – easy. A back-up power supply and instant alerts if the power is off means you’re never in the dark.
VISITOR CARDS
Know who’s coming and going.
Visitor cards let you keep track of who is coming in and out of the home. You can give visitor cards to any care provider or regular visitor and register them all in the Canary Care portal, so you can see who’s who.
DOOR MAGNETS
To suit your needs.
Use door magnets with the sensors to check if people are leaving or entering the home. The door sensors can be placed on the ceiling above the doors if you are worried about tampering meaning they are out of reach, but you still have peace of mind. You can even place sensors on fridges, cupboards, windows, and drawers to see if your loved one is eating properly or opening the windows when it’s hot.
SMART PLUG
Manage usage.
Keep track of appliance usage with the new smart plug. Simply insert the smart plug into a standard socket and plug in the appliance you want to monitor. Use the Canary Care web app to see when the appliance was switched on/off, how long for, and set appliance usage alerts.
HUMIDITY SENSOR
Detect to prevent.
Our new humidity sensor can be placed in a bathroom to help you understand when someone is having a bath or shower. It can also detect when the combination of humidity and temperature in a property are conducive to the development of mould and trigger a ‘mould risk’ alert.
